Description
Static pressure probes are installed into an HVAC duct and measure the air pressure against the duct walls. They feature a straight-cut tip with an opening perpendicular to the airstream that measures static air pressure. Static air pressure is the air pressure measured when the air is still or when the movement of the air does not affect the pressure reading. They are commonly used with pressure differential sensors to verify that the HVAC system is operating correctly and efficiently.
