Description
Belt-guard-mounted aftercoolers attach to the compressor's v-belt guard where the air from the pulley system forces air over the aftercooler's coils. Belt guards are metal frames that provide protection around the belt, pulley, and flywheel of an air compressor. The belt pulley has fins designed to force air over the aftercooler to cool the air traveling through the coils.
