Since each part of the filter holder is integrally injected with 100% PFA, it is chemically inert, non-adhesive, has excellent corrosion resistance, and does not contaminate ultra-high purity fluids. Also, the fluid does not stick at all.
All parts of the 47 series filter holder are made of PFA injection molding, but the 147 series clamp nut is made of ETFE with 25% glass reinforcement to increase the pressure resistance.
The filter element can be replaced without disconnecting the piping connected to the filter holder.
