To create a complete illuminated pushbutton switch, you need a pushbutton operator, contact block, lens, and filament lamp or LED. RS IP65 Indicators and Pushbutton Switches - ADA16S Series (16 mm). These pre-assembled, modular, illuminated and non-illuminated, momentary and alternating action, round, square, and rectangular pushbutton switches and matching pilot light indicators fit industry-standard 16 mm diameter cutouts in panels 0.5 to 5 mm thick. Choose from raised bezel profiles to prevent accidental touches, or recessed mounting, which allows the pushbutton switch or pilot light indicator to be mounted nearly flush with any panel. Each pushbutton switch or pilot light indicator is quick and easy to assemble and, when fully assembled, provides an IP65-rated waterproof panel sealing. Push button operators can be attached to any contact block, allowing for a variety of switch function and illumination combinations (see part numbers 745-2427, 745-2423, 745-2420 for contact and lamp blocks). Each contact block features a 2.8 x 0.5 mm universal terminal that can be used for direct soldering or plug-in receptacles. Pilot light indicators come with pre-installed lamp blocks. Use a T1 (MG5.7s) miniature threaded filament lamp or LED for illumination and select a compatible lens. Lenses compatible with the ADA16S series push button switches and pilot light indicators are available in a variety of colors (blue, green, amber, red, white, black) and shapes (round, square, rectangular). Each lens has a flat profile and is constructed from engravable polycarbonate. Two bezel converters (square part number 745-2552 and rectangular part number 745-2559) convert square and rectangular pushbutton switches (745-2458, 745-2461, 745-2451, 745-2470) and pilot light indicators (745-2489 and 745-2483) to flush-mount countersunk types. Each converter includes a retaining bow, gasket, and black plastic flush-mount bezel. Other switches in the ADA16 series include key switches, rotary selector switches, buzzers, and emergency stops.
