Description
Eaton HAC series beacon/sounder units are intended for use in potentially explosive gas atmospheres with sound output up to 116 dB and tube energy up to 10 Joules (beacon). Suitable for use in harsh environmental conditions in offshore and onshore environments in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. Flame path, flare and body are made from UV stabilized glass fiber reinforced polyester. Stainless steel screws and mounting start-ups are used so corrosion is eliminated. A tapered flame path is used to solve the assembly problems of parallel spigot flame paths. Independent beacon/sounder operating types available 27 tones available (dual tone option - dc voltage) Tones comply with UKOOA/PFEER guidelines Integral volume control Corrosion resistant flame retardant of GRP Ratcheting swivel mounting start-up Stainless steel fixings Tapered flame path
