The handles cannot be opened until the crimp cycle is complete, preventing partial crimps. The handles open once the crimp cycle is complete. The ratchet ensures consistent, repeatable crimps. In the event of jamming or misplaced terminals, an emergency ratchet release lever allows the handles to be easily opened. Locator and Wire Stop: To ensure accurate terminal placement during crimping, this manual crimping tool features an easy-to-use flap-style locator. The locator easily opens, ensuring the terminal is inserted on the correct side. Once the terminal is inserted, the locator returns to its original position and the crimping tool closes to the first ratchet.
