Ratchet Mechanism: The ratchet is preset to a specific pressure and remains locked until the handles are fully closed and the dies bottom out. The handles cannot be opened until the crimp cycle is complete, preventing incomplete crimps. The handles open once the crimp cycle is complete. The ratchet ensures consistent, repeatable crimps. In the event of jamming or misplaced terminals, an emergency ratchet release lever allows the handles to be easily opened. Locator and Wire Stop: To ensure accurate terminal placement during crimping, this manual crimping tool features a user-friendly, flap-style locator.
