When the cracking pressure is reached, the check valve is pushed open, allowing oil to flow in only one direction. In addition, the check valve can be pushed up by external pilot pressure to allow oil to flow in the opposite direction. There is also a decompression type in which the small check valve opens before the main valve opens.
*External drain type and internal drain type cannot be interchanged. *When the outlet side P1 is directly connected to the tank during reverse free flow, use the internal drain type, but if back pressure is applied to the outlet side P1, use the external drain type.
