Maxell Aluminum tape for masking plating

Slion Tape No. 8121 is recommended as a tape to be used in the plating masking process.
In the etching and plating processes, we use synthetic rubber adhesives that have excellent chemical resistance.
This means that the tape has excellent masking properties and leaves little residue when removed again.
(1) For masking plating
* (1) If the surface to which you apply the tape is dirty, the tape will not adhere properly, so be sure to remove any dirt, dust, moisture, oil, etc. before applying the tape.
*(2) In order to ensure sufficient adhesive strength, press the tape firmly with your hand after applying it to make sure it blends in. If the tape is not pressed firmly, it will not adhere.
* (3) When storing the tape, avoid direct sunlight and heat sources such as heating equipment, and store it in a cool place.
*(4) This is not an insulating tape, so please do not use it for electrical insulation.
*(5) Do not apply the tape directly to furniture, walls, glass, PVC products, car bodies, etc., as this may cause glue residue, discoloration, or paint peeling.
* (6) This tape is not for skin application. Do not apply directly to the skin as it may cause rashes or leave sticky residue.
* (7) Depending on the surface you stick it to, it may contaminate the surface or leave glue residue, so please check before using it on something important to you.
* (8) The edges of the aluminum foil may cut items, so please be careful not to cut skin or other parts of your body while applying the tape.
*(9)When using, please make sure that it suits your needs.
*(10) This product is recommended for masking during plating, however, please check the product thoroughly before immersing it in various etching or plating solutions.
