By using the optional special T-nut (Tnut-Plus) for BR chuck, the grip accuracy is 0.01 mm TIR or less even after the jaw is attached or detached. No jaw remolding is required.
Since the jaw mounting reproducibility is very high, there is no need for expensive special jaws. Kitagawa Iron Works standard soft jaw (SJ type) can be used, which is very economical. Procurement is also easy.
* Tnut-Plus mounting reproducibility can only be achieved with the soft jaw specified by Kitagawa. Using other jaws not only deteriorates the grip accuracy, but may also lead to seizure of the chuck sliding surface and damage to parts.
* With BR12, the grasping accuracy is 0.015 mm TIR.
