The uniquely developed "double-sided Z-shaped" insert combines the features of conventional positive and negative inserts, achieving low resistance and sharpness even though it is a negative (double-sided) insert.
WSX445 has a low resistance design comparable to positive (single-sided) inserts. In particular, it shows a low resistance value for back force.
Chips are formed in a spiral shape and are discharged to the outside of the cutter. This has the effect of preventing chips from getting caught and scratching the cutter body.
* Wet cutting is recommended when the finished surface is important. (Life is shorter than dry cutting.)
