The main cutting edge of the insert supports 90° wall machining. The wiper blade has a large radius to achieve a good finished surface. Furthermore, the uniquely developed "X shape" with 6 corners that can be used on both sides contributes to tool cost reduction.
High rigidity has been achieved with the maximum insert thickness (6mm). Excellent fracture resistance eliminates the need for a seat and provides stable insert fixation with direct clamping.
The conventional straight cutting edge has evolved into a curved cutting edge. Furthermore, the optimal rake face shape of the cutting edge prevents chips from scattering to the bottom and outer circumferential surfaces. Work efficiency is greatly improved while obtaining a good surface finish.
