The cutter is carefully hardened to a hardness of approximately HRC61. The material is vanadium electric steel, oil-hardened and tempered. Forged for extra strength. Complies with DIN EN/IEC 60900 standards. The 1000V insulated handle is made of two materials and has a two-tone red and yellow color to differentiate it from non-insulated tools. Ideal for gripping and cutting delicate electronic components. Semicircular jaws with sharp tips. The gripping surfaces are toothed. Includes cutters for medium and hard wire. The side cutters can cut medium hard wire up to 2.5 mm in diameter (125 mm pliers up to 2.2 mm) and hard wire up to 1.6 mm. Includes an integrated insulated retaining ring for mounting a slip-proof device.
