The testo 416 is a vane anemometer for measuring wind speed and volume. The probe tip has a diameter of 16 mm and can be extended up to 850 mm, making it ideal for measurements at heights and large diameter ducts. It is characterized by higher accuracy than hot-wire anemometers in the medium wind speed range (5 to 40 m/s). Also, unlike the hot wire type, it is not affected by temperature or air pressure (air density).
