For measuring the thickness of the coating film
* Measurable base materials are iron materials with a thickness of 300 μm or more and non-ferrous materials with a thickness of 50 μm or more (magnetic materials such as iron, excluding nickel).
* The maximum measurable coating material is 5.0 mm (paint paint, varnish, synthetic paint, enamel, rubber, ceramic, galvanized, etc.) for all non-magnetic coating materials on iron materials.
* Maximum 2.0 mm coating film of non-conductive insulating material on non-ferrous material (paint paint, varnish, synthetic paint, alumite, rubber, etc.)
