Informasi Produk

Description
To measure sound pressure level and noise level correctly, it is necessary to check the readings on the sound level meter before and after measurement. Sound calibrators are used to check and maintain that the sound level meter (sound level meter) is indicating accurate values. There are two types of sound calibrators: speaker type and pistonphone type, which generate different sound pressure levels and frequencies. They are defined by the standards JIS C 1515 and IEC 60942, and are classified into Class 1, Class 2, etc. depending on their performance.
*Even with the same sound calibrator, the calibrated sound pressure level may differ depending on the type of microphone. When calibrating, be sure to check the calibrated sound pressure level in the instruction manual. Some calibrators also require barometric pressure correction, which is indicated by /C after the class (e.g., Class 1/C). *When using a sound calibrator (SC-3120) with a sound pressure level of 250 Hz, you must calibrate the sound level meter with C or Z frequency weighting. Calibrating with A frequency weighting will result in a low value. *If you are using a Class 1 sound level meter or microphone, we recommend using a Class 1 sound calibrator. *We do not deliver to residential addresses (single-family homes or apartment buildings).
