This cable connects and extends the D-sub 25pin of a DOS/V computer and peripheral devices (DCE) such as modems and TAs. (All pin connection specification) A double shielded cable with a sealed aluminum shielding process applied to the inside of a high-density braided copper shielding material. Protects important data from most noise from low to high frequencies. Uses a noise-resistant twisted pair wire that twists two core wires together. With metal treatment, it is resistant to external noise, and is a perfect FCC countermeasure against electromagnetic interference (EMI). The cable shell can be removed and the internal wiring specifications can be changed. *The Centronics connector is a metal shield connector. Contact noise is shut out by using a machined pin conforming to the US MIL standard. Of course, it is gold-plated to resist signal degradation due to rust and aging.
