This is an OM3 compliant optical fiber cable that supports 10GBASE-SR/SW standard transmission and is capable of 10 gigabit high-speed communication.
This optical fiber cable can be used with 10GBASE-S and other 10Gigabit Ethernet and FibreChannel, and is ideal for long-distance communications (up to 300m).
It is compatible with VCSEL (vertical cavity surface emitting laser) light sources and defines a "limited mode excitation band" that is not specified in the conventional OM1 and OM2.
By passing a tension member through the cable, the cable is designed so that no pulling force is directly applied to the optical fiber itself.
Connector protection covers are included on both ends, which are convenient when wiring and prevent damage to the connectors.
The cable outer sheath is made of flame-retardant material that is less likely to cause a fire to spread.
*Since this product uses flame-retardant material, white streaks may appear on the cable surface, but this does not affect performance in any way.
