HiPS stands for High Impact Polystyrene and is mainly used as a support material for ABS. Unlike water-soluble supports such as PVA, it is a support material that dissolves using the solvent D-limonene. Besides ABS, it can also be used to support PC and PET CF15. In addition, HiPS has high molding stability, and in addition to its impact resistance, it is also excellent for single molding because it is highly paintable and polishable.
