Seiga-nuri is a new technique in which lacquer is applied with a brush, the surface is polished, and then the lacquer is layered on top using silk cloth to create patterns.
The lacquer is applied to the silk fabric and then gently stroked, allowing the lacquer to seep out and create a rich look.
The patterns are not intended to stand out too strongly, and a sense of refinement is expressed by using a base color lacquer and specially processed lacquer.
Furthermore, by gently sprinkling pure gold and silver powder on the surface of the lacquer, it is possible to create an elegant and refined look that cannot be expressed by brushing the lacquer alone.
