This accessory is specifically designed for the multi-accessory shoe, enabling high-speed data communication and power supply from the camera. The multi-accessory shoe enhances the convenience and reliability of still and video shooting, and also supports network and smartphone connectivity.

The Multi-Accessory Shoe Smartphone Link Adapter AD-P1 integrates the EOS R3 with a smartphone* to support communication functions. By securing the smartphone in the holder and attaching the base to the Multi-Accessory Shoe, and connecting them with a dedicated cable, operability is greatly improved. Another benefit is that the cable is short, making the camera easier to handle and hold.
* Android smartphones with a width of 60 to 80 mm can be attached. Depending on the shape and button layout, it may not be possible to attach them.
-Foldable smartphones cannot be attached.
- iOS smartphones and smartphones without USB host functionality cannot be used.

By using Mobile File Transfer, professional photographers can quickly upload the large volumes of images and videos they take to FTP/FTPS/SFTP servers via a mobile device's 5G connection. The combination of the AD-P1, a smartphone, and Mobile File Transfer enables smooth, high-speed image and video transfer, expanding the scope of your workflow.
