Canon Extender RF

This extender is attached between an RF mount camera body and an RF lens to extend the lens's focal length. Its high-refractive-power, low-dispersion glass reduces various aberrations that cause image degradation, while its three-element cemented lens construction reduces the surface area in contact with the air, and its optimized coating suppresses ghosting, resulting in high image quality. The mount and controls are dust- and weather-resistant, and the extender is highly durable and resistant to vibration and impact, allowing for the attachment of heavy super-telephoto lenses. It also features a heat-shielding coating that reflects infrared rays contained in sunlight to prevent the lens from overheating.
* Although the structure is dust-proof and drip-proof, it cannot completely prevent the intrusion of dust and water droplets.
