Supports Ethernet 2.5GBASE-T wired LAN that can be used with the EOS R5 Mark II, achieving faster communication speeds than the conventional 1000BASE-T. FTP transfers, remote shooting (EOS Utility), and more are possible.
[Power supply and charging]
It is possible to mount two LP-E6P/LP-E6NH/LP-E6N/LP-E6 batteries in the battery magazine. By connecting the plug of the USB adapter PD-E2 or PD-E1 to the digital terminal (USB Type-C) of a compatible camera, it is possible to charge the LP-E6P/LP-E6NH/LP-E6N in the battery magazine.
[Easy operation for vertical shooting]
The multi-controller and buttons are arranged so that even when shooting vertically, you can operate the camera in a way that feels similar to when it's in horizontal position.
[Dust and water resistant]
It has the same dust-proof and water-resistant performance as the EOS R5 Mark II.
*When attached to the EOS R5/EOS R6 Mark II/EOS R6, the wired LAN function will be disabled and it can only be used as a battery grip.
*When using LP-E6NH/LP-E6N with EOS R5 Mark II, you cannot use the network (Wi-Fi/Ethernet) or multi-accessory shoe-compatible accessories that require a large amount of power from the camera. Pre-continuous shooting, HDMI RAW output, and still image recording during video shooting cannot be used. There are restrictions on the resolution, image quality, and frame rate for videos. Continuous shooting speed may decrease.
*LP-E6 cannot be used with EOS R5 Mark II.
