Sustainability plays an increasingly important role in the perception and purchasing decisions of customers looking for lab consumables. epT.IPS(R) BioBased Pipette Tips with volumes up to 1,250 μL Long, ep Dualfilter TIPS(R) BioBased and ep Dualfilter TIPS(R) SealMax(R) BioBased Filter Pipette Tips significantly reduce the carbon footprint associated with the products. These pipette tips consist of at least 90% bio-based polypropylene. They are available exclusively in the new Reload variants, which represent Eppendorf's serious attempt to significantly reduce plastic waste and separate single-use consumables from fossil resources. Along with using more sustainable starting materials for pipette tips, these bio-based tips belong to the Reload range, which meets the same purity and sterility requirements as conventional disposable racks. The Reload range saves up to 54% of fossil-based plastic compared to conventional racks and significantly reduces the volume of lab waste.
