Kobelco (Kobe Steel) Welding Rods for Mild Steel

The use of excessive current not only reduces X-ray performance, but also leads to deterioration in workability, such as increased spatter, undercuts, and poor slag coverage, so please observe the appropriate current range.
Excessive moisture absorption can deteriorate workability and cause pitting, so please dry at 70-100°C for 30-60 minutes. Avoid
drying for long periods of time or at high temperatures, as this can reduce penetration, reduce X-ray performance, and cause rod burns, even if there is no apparent deterioration.
When welding medium and thick plates, please use appropriate preheating and interpass temperatures.
