It can be used stably and continuously in a temperature range of -120 to 260°C, and can also be sterilized by autoclave, dry heat, or ethylene oxide gas.
It has excellent chemical resistance and is not affected by acids, alkalis, oxidizing agents, organic solvents, etc., and can be used with most chemicals except for special chemicals such as fluorine gas, chlorine trifluoride, and molten alkali metals under high temperature and pressure.
Because it is hydrophobic (water-repellent), it is less affected by humidity during gas filtration and hardly adsorbs acidic gases.
Because the filter undergoes a special treatment during manufacturing, there are almost no fibers that come off the filter.
After filtration, the filter can be washed with chemicals and reused.
It has a low coefficient of friction and also has electrical properties, non-stickiness, and releasability, making it easier to collect residue on the filter after filtration compared to cellulose filter paper.
It is used for filtering high viscosity organic solvents, as a prefilter when there is a lot of suspended matter, and for collecting suspended particulate matter in the air.
