All-PTFE screw caps offer high chemical resistance and are suitable for use as storage bottles for various solvents. They are heat-resistant up to +250°C. PPS screw caps are made from mechanically strong black polyphenylene sulfide (PPS). For enhanced chemical resistance, they are available with an internal PTFE-lined silicone gasket (heat-resistant up to +230°C) or a PTFE membrane (heat-resistant up to +250°C). The PTFE-lined silicone gasket not only enhances the cap's chemical resistance, but also compensates for bottle thread irregularities at the top and can also be used as a septum membrane.
