Description
This is a handy oil pump that draws non-viscous liquids into a dedicated bottle by manually operating the piston.
It can sample water from bottles, tanks, barrels, drums, etc. with a minimum diameter of 1.5 cm, and has a suction power of about 5 m above the liquid surface, making it suitable for sampling water from well water, groundwater, and water tanks. However, it is not suitable for sampling water from springs that contain garbage and impurities.
The water sample flows directly from the tube into the bottle without passing through the aluminum pump cylinder, so there is no need to clean the inside of the cylinder. What's more, the tube and bottle can be easily attached and detached by simply screwing them together.
General-purpose pumps have a release valve in the head, and when the required amount of water has been drawn, pressing this valve releases the pressure and allows the liquid in the tube to drain.
A conversion adapter for GL45 glass bottles (sold separately) can be used to connect glass bottles with GL45 thread standards (sold separately).
<How to collect water> 1. Twist the bottle firmly onto the head.
2. Insert one end of the tube through the head from the tube fixing screw side into the lower bottle until it protrudes 2 to 3 cm, and then tighten the tube fixing screw.
3. Place the other end of the tube into the water sample.
4. When you move the piston back and forth, the water will flow through the tube directly into the bottle.
5. After the required amount of water has been drawn, pressing the release valve will stop the inflow and the liquid in the tube will return (however, there is no release valve for the larger diameter tube).
6. Loosen the tube fixing screw little by little, and after making sure that there is no liquid left in the tube, remove the tube and remove the bottle.
It can be attached directly to the Vampire Pump.
