SHS-LV Linear Carriage
THK's SHS-LC series linear motion carriages have four rows of balls arranged in a cage with a 45° contact angle with the balls, distributing the load evenly in all directions. This allows the SHS-LC system to be mounted in any orientation. The ball-in-cage design eliminates friction between the balls and creates grease pockets that cover the ball surfaces with an oil film. This minimizes losses due to friction and allows for smooth, high-speed operation that is maintenance-free over the long term.
