Description
Up to 8 LE-net modules can be installed on one configuration. (Up to 2 units for SPH200) LE-net is the manufacturer's original network, and is an inexpensive inter-processor link module for communicating with other nodes connected to LE-net. Communication can be broadcast communication and message communication. There are two types of LE-net connections: multi-drop method and single-loop duplex wiring method. If the transmission line is disconnected, a transmission error will occur in the multidrop method, but in the loop method, data communication between each node can continue. This makes it possible to build highly reliable systems at low cost. The loop 2 module has a redundant maintenance FB that allows duplication of the LE-net module. Additionally, single and duplex configurations can coexist within the loop.
