This is the Eaton Bussmann SAFEloc series. The SAFEloc fuse holder series is designed to fit compact offset blade fuses. The fuse holder features a unique snap-and-slide fuse carrier, eliminating the need for fuse carrier contacts. Once the fuse is installed in the holder, it locks into place within the base, allowing for safe insertion and removal. Direct contact between the fuse blade and plated base contacts ensures high reliability and low wattage loss. The fuse base is made from a glass-filled thermoplastic polyester with high impact resistance. The fuse base contacts are fully shrouded, protecting the circuitry and protecting against electrical discharges and shocks. The shroud is manufactured with the same snap-and-slide action, allowing access to the captive contact terminal screws and reducing the risk of loss during installation. The fuse holder cable termination screws have a recommended tightening torque of 2.5-2.8 Nm. It is important to screw them in securely and secure the cable to prevent heat buildup. This fuse holder product is dual-mount and can be mounted on either panel. Constructed with a single screw fixing and DIN rail mounting for direct installation on a 35mm DIN rail, SAFEloc fuse holders easily protect a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment, including lighting, heating, motor and control circuitry, resulting in significant savings in volume, cost, installation time and power loss.
