Description
Valve manifolds for hydraulic power units (HPUs) are added to hydraulic systems to create custom fluid flow configurations between the actuator and pump. Primarily used with compact AC and DC power units, manifold blocks are used with valves to divert, stop, or start fluid flow as required, such as when operating a backhoe or when using one power unit to power two tools. Manifolds are generally less likely to leak than tubing.
