Omega Waterproof Open Gear Grease

Omega 73 is a special open gear lubricant, which is weatherproof and remains in place, despite various conditions, such as wind, rain, hail, snow, sunshine, sandstorms and others. This lubricant provides the necessary additional gears and various gears, which ordinary greases cannot provide. Ordinary greases quickly develop a hardened deposit and cause frictional resistance and excessive energy consumption. Omega 73 remains in place and maintains the smooth movement of gears and their systems.
 
Notes
The criteria for a good gear lubricant are based on its ability to separate the loading of one pair of gears from another in a multiple gear system. All friction surfaces in a gear system, including the gear shaft bearings, receive lubrication from a single source. Compromise in lubricant quality must not be allowed if severe wear and downtime are to be avoided.

Capillary Force
Omega 73 contains capillary action that extends across metal surfaces and friction points. This action prevents or reduces:

Hydrodynamic Stability
Omega 73 forms a fluid wedge between the gear wear surfaces. This incredibly smooth bearing provides minimal friction for the axle and the interlocking gears.
Ordinary lubricants form deposits and quickly develop into hard spots that cause scratches, galling or pitting on metal surfaces.
 
Composition Integrity
Unlike conventional greases, which harden easily, Omega 73 retains its original, soft NLGI 2 structure. Conventional greases thin and slough off even with small temperature changes.
