Description
“Ultra High-Performance” Oil for Refrigerating & Air Compressors
Based on cutting-edge synthetic chemistry, Omega 615 delivers a new “wrap” performance for a wide range of compressors [including refrigeration compressors], unmatched by conventional lubricants. Its special PAO (polyalphaolefin) blend formulation, along with its anti-oxidation, rust-fighting and anti-foaming properties, give Inui’s specialty lubricants unmatched performance in rotary screw and rotary vane compressors, with ISO VG 100 for conventional reciprocating compressors.
Under real-world and long-term operating conditions, Omega 615 offers unparalleled oxidation stability. Conventional compressor oils, due to their unstable properties, become thicker, experience changes in viscosity characteristics, and tend to corrode the surfaces they come into contact with, due to a tendency to increase their TAN (Total Acid Number).
On the other hand, Omega 615 is highly resistant to oxidation and does not leave behind harmful penile deposits and carbon, thereby greatly reducing, and in certain circumstances, eliminating
Compressor cleaning maintenance. Regular use of Omega 615 dramatically extends oil change periods and reduces oil consumption and repair frequency, which directly impacts the operating costs of compression equipment.
Designed to be Special
Omega 615 provides improved wear protection at high temperatures and also prevents the formation of deposits in low-temperature systems, such as refrigeration compressors. Due to its improved anti-oxidation and lubricating properties, Omega 615 improves compressor efficiency and reduces exhaust valve deposits.
Due to its significantly higher oxidation stability, Omega 615 ISO VG 46 is particularly suitable for use in roll screw and rotary vane compressors, where operating temperatures typically exceed 100° – 110°C, and where significant foaming occurs, which quickly degrades the performance of conventional compressor oils.
Omega 615 ISO VG 100 is recommended for conventional reciprocating compressors that require higher viscosity for optimal performance.
Also, due to Omega 615's exceptional stability at very low temperatures, Inui oil outperforms the best refrigeration compressor oils (which can only work down to a pour point of –40°C), while Omega 615's pour point is –57°C.
