Better Than Regular “Pure” Oils
Typically, so-called “pure” oils are known by various names such as “Pure White,” “Pure Mineral,” “Medical,” or “Pharmaceutical Grade,” and so on. However, such oils lack effective additives and are often toxic, making them unsuitable for high-purity applications. Consequently, these “pure” oils offer only very limited performance, are unstable, wear out easily, foam excessively, and oxidize quickly. They require frequent replacement and offer little or no performance. Omega 580, on the other hand, is based entirely on new chemical additives that are completely non-toxic and provide performance capabilities superior to those of conventional “pure” oils.
 
USDA-Approved Additives
Omega 580 contains highly effective antifoaming agents, oxidation inhibitors, and additional wear inhibitors. Furthermore, a bactericide is added to maintain purity and keep bacteria counts low. These additives are so advanced that they are not found in any other "pure" oil. More importantly, they enable Omega 580 to outperform other pure oils under service conditions. (Due to the high concentration of additives in Omega 580, some sedimentation may occur. However, this does not adversely affect Omega 580's performance.)
 
Utility
Because Omega 580 contains highly effective additives, this lubricant is more durable and superior to ordinary "pure" oils, in various applications that "demand" the use of pure grade oils.
