Description
Using ordinary or inadequate lubricants in today's compressors is dangerous. If heat and carbon buildup are carried into the receiver, a dangerous explosion or fire can occur. Unfortunately, this is often overlooked or misunderstood until it's too late.
Omega 613 is a superior air compressor lubricant, offering a new dimension in safety and cost-effective performance. The ideal properties for a compressor lubricant are high chemical stability, good flash point, thermal stability, and high purity. It must also have resistance to rust formation, corrosion, and oxidation. Such a lubricant must have a balanced viscosity to provide the necessary protection for fine clearances and tolerances. CARBON RESISTANCE: Omega 613 resists carbon formation. Because of its high impurity content and its susceptibility to contamination, conventional lubricants tend to promote carbon formation. The combination of these two factors quickly forms “hot spots” that quickly develop into granite-like deposits. Omega 613’s exceptional lubricity not only seals the seals, increasing pressure output, but also resists damaging high temperatures.
 
Stable Viscosity
Omega 613 is equipped with viscosity improvers, providing additional protection for the smooth clearance necessary for long-term compressor efficiency. The fluidity, or texture, of this lubricant remains stable over a wide range of temperatures.
 
Oxidation Resistant
Omega 613 provides excellent protection against oxidation. Because compressors are in constant contact with oxygen in the air, oxidation will occur unless special protection is provided. Oxidation causes corrosion, which can lead to expensive equipment failure.
 
Advantages of Air Suckers
Since the function of the air extractor is the same as that of the air compressor – in reserve – Omega 613 also really recommends achieving maximum results with all types of air extractors.
 
The Right Arrangement for Drip Lubrication
The main problem with conventional lubricants is inadequate viscosity, which prevents proper drip formation and feed rate. However, with the stability of Omega 613, feed timing can be carefully calculated to meet the equipment's demands. Too early a feed can lead to carbon buildup, while too late a feed can result in dangerous metal-to-metal contact.
*note: cryogenic is an element that forms low temperatures, or something related to low temperatures.
Use
Omega 613 is very “flexible” and can be used on all types of compressors, including:
-Screw compressor
-Rotary compressor [rotary compressor]
-Gear compressor [gear compressor]
-Centrifugal compressor
-Twin-lobe compressor
-Axial-flow compressor
-Internally compounded compressor
Their primary functions are based on the superior performance of suction, displacement, compression, and exhaust. Generally, this type of equipment can be divided into two categories:
-Positive or mechanical displacement category
-Type with centrifugal drive or active power to channel trapped air.
Omega 613 provides the necessary protection and acts as a safety factor, regardless of whether the compressor used is a Multistage Reciprocating Compressor or an Expansion System type [with very low cryogenic temperatures*].
