Description
Omega 992 “Power Booster” is a fuel injector booster added through the tank when refueling diesel and gasoline vehicles. Omega 992 is designed and engineered to quickly restore fuel injector efficiency to near-new performance. Omega 992 also helps control vapor lock (water in the fuel system), which can cause hard starting, rough idling, and slow throttle response.
Another benefit of Omega 992 is that because it is put into the fuel tank, its special anti-oxidant material will protect the tank, fuel lines, fuel pump, injector itself and all components in the engine from rust attack.
 
“Soakdown” (Heat Spread)
Although the injectors remain relatively cool while the engine is running, the heat generated when the engine is turned off forms fuel deposits on the nozzles. These deposits impede and reduce proper fuel flow to the engine cylinders, which can lead to power loss, poor acceleration, rough idling, difficult starting, and a variety of other problems.
(*Heat absorption/transfer occurs because when the engine is turned off, the oil pump – which circulates oil in and around the engine components – also stops working; the cooling fan is off; the engine cooling system (radiator) also does not work. Therefore, as soon as the engine is turned off, the engine's latent heat "overflows" into the engine and, without any coolant, the temperature increases drastically before it can dissipate).
 
Causes of Injector Deposits
The primary source of fuel injector fouling is fuel composition; these fouling deposits are primarily gum and coke. This fuel composition effect is due to the presence of olefins and diolefins in the fuel, which form deposits at temperatures between 90-105°C (162-221°F) – a hot soakdown zone! This problem can appear even on new cars, within the first 3,000 to 7,000 miles (4,800 to 11,000 km).
 
Existing Fuel Injector Defects
Port-type fuel injection has rapidly swept the automotive world. Current estimates suggest that 90% of new US models and 65% of European models use fuel-injected engines. For their export orientation, Japanese models are tailored to different markets, but this trend is clearly geared toward fuel-injected models, which are the dominant system.
Of the types of fuel injectors used, the mechanical type is less prone to injector clogging, while the most prone to this problem is the electronic multipoint injection.
 
Omega 992 'Power Burner'
At the injector tip, where deposits form in and around the nozzle tip, the pressurized stream of Omega 992 'Power Blaster' sweeps these deposits through the engine's combustion chamber, where they are burned away – leaving the injector's metering area clean and back within tolerance. By removing the deposits, vital, accurate evaporation metering can be restored and the engine runs like new again.
Use
Precise dosage measurement is possible thanks to the special Omega 992 applicator. Omega 992 is in concentrated form, making it economical to use.
-Economic (Compact) Cars with A Fuel Capacity of Approximately 8-10 Gallons (30-38 Liters): 1⁄2oz. (15ml) at each full fill-up
-Medium-sized vehicles with a capacity of approximately 10-18 gallons (38-70 liters): 1 oz (30 ml) per full fill.
-Large Cars and Small Trucks with Fuel Capacity Over 20 Gallons (76+ Liters): 1 oz. (30ml) for every 16 gallons (60 liters)
Omega 992 is effective for gasoline and diesel vehicles with fuel injection systems. (All diesel engines use fuel injection)
