Omega Heavy-Duty Low-Temperature Grease

Omega 66 is the lubricant of choice for almost every efficient military organization or quality/efficiency conscious organization. Omega 66 is an ultra-low temperature lubricant with an excellent level of usability for a wide range of applications in both military and industrial applications.
 
Will Not Harden
Omega 66 will not freeze or harden during freezing. It maintains an NLGI rating of 2, even at the lowest temperatures, ensuring continued lubrication and protection of moving parts. Conventional lubricants harden, causing energy-consuming motion restrictions.
 
High Lubricant Power
Omega 66 has a soft, malleable structure that forms a crucial hydrodynamic 'liquid tray' between the friction surfaces. This promotes more efficient operation and reduces wear and scratches.
 
Waterproof
Omega 66 is water and water wash resistant. It resists the tendency of conventional greases to form “rust-prone” areas as melting snow or ice contracts the metal surface and removes the lubricating film. Omega 66 stays in place and protects the lubricated surface. Similarly, in high-speed bearings, Omega 66’s strong adhesion ensures the surface remains lubricated and protected despite centrifugal forces that might otherwise throw conventional grease off.
 
Suitable for Centralized System (CS)
Omega 66 works very well in central system lubrication at low temperatures, and remains stable even when there are temperature fluctuations.
 
Special Supplements
Omega 66 contains, among other things, a dibasic ester and polyphenyl ether compound combined with micronized silica. This special combination provides the 'twin-end' temperature stability required for low-temperature applications. At low temperatures, conventional greases solidify and form hard, abrasive "floods" that grip metal surfaces, causing severe wear and seizure. At extremely low temperatures, equipment damage is not only life-threatening but also difficult to repair.
Omega 66 is also very suitable for bearing applications due to its excellent adhesion. Omega 66 is suitable for most high-speed bearings, for example, 10 mm (inner ring) bearings operating at 25,000 to 30,000 rpm, or 20 mm bearings operating at 12,500-15,000 rpm, or even 30 mm bearings operating at 8,500 to 10,000 rpm.
