Omega Carbon-Free Hi-Temperature Chain Lubricant

Omega 647 is designed as a chain lubricant, a complement to the widely recognized and well-known Omega 646 “High Tech” Fluid Lubricant chain lubricant, with a sophisticated synthetic formula that is suitable for higher operating temperature conditions than conventional mineral-based oil products.
 
Working Power
In general, Omega 647 is engineered for “high performance” lubrication of chains, just like its ‘brother’ Omega 646. However, in addition to its exceptional lubricating power, Omega 647 has three technical advantages:
Adhesive Quality – Omega 647 is processed using a specially developed high-adhesion material. For chain applications, this material allows Omega 647 to adhere tightly to the pores of the metal, yet its elastic properties, help it spread along the chain and rollers without being squeezed out. This superior adhesion quality allows Omega 647 to exert a very high adhesion force on lubricated metal surfaces and, even in high-speed chain applications where centrifugal forces cause the chain to “jump,” squeal and slip, increasing the likelihood of damage, injury or other losses.
Additionally, the equipment must be shut down and the chain must be removed and cleaned with solvent and a brush, which is time consuming and labor intensive.
Omega 647, if exposed to very high temperatures for a long time, can evaporate. All that is needed is to add it directly or through a regularly dripping container or reservoir with Omega 647. There is no need to stop work or additional labor to clean the chain.
Absolutely Smoke-Free Quality: Omega 647 produces very little smoke and is usually almost smokeless when exposed to high temperatures. This makes Omega 647 more suitable for food processing plants and also in enclosed or poorly ventilated areas. The drastically reduced smoke levels also improve worker morale.
Multipurpose Working Power
Omega 647 is perfect for all chain lubrication applications, especially those subjected to extreme temperatures. It is recommended for stenter chains, furnace chains, kiln chains, heating conveyors, motorcycle, snowmobile and saw chains. It is also suitable for open gears and amusement park equipment lubrication, such as chains, rails, guides and rollers.
