No overspeed errors occur because the absolute scale reads absolute positions.
The absolute origin can be set at any position and stored (only one point). Even if the power is turned off, the previously set absolute origin is stored, so the coordinates can be restored immediately after the power is turned on. (Note: If the battery is removed or replaced, the absolute origin position will be reset to the initial value.)
The SD-AX type (approximately 18,000 hours) and SD-D type (approximately 20,000 hours) have extremely long battery life and are economical.
The display unit has been made compact, making it possible to use it as a positioning sensor for small machine tools and jigs and tools.
