Made from Dupont’s high-performance acetal resin, Delrin, these thumb screw knobs benefit from high resistance to creep and fatigue, high toughness, and high tensile strength and stiffness, all while still being a lightweight material.
A socket head cap screw is inserted into the base of the knob by pressing firmly and squarely together. It is advised that a stop or a spacer equivalent to the diameter of the screw head is placed between the screw head and the inside of the knob to avoid over-pressure.Self-assembly thumb screw knobs: M3 (RS 771651).
