Description
RS PRO ABS, Magnetic Based, Dial Type Inclinometer, ±1° Accuracy, 250 x 120 x 25 mm
From RS PRO a high quality and durable Inclinometer complete with a magnetic base, and made from tough impact resistant ABS aluminium alloy, excellent for working in any environment. The inclinometer is a Dial Type which not only provides accurate readings and level measurement of ±1° but provides the facility to measure the angles of tilt in degrees and percentage slope. This type of inclinometer is extremely beneficial as it allows for quick, simple, and accurate measurement plus a visual representation of the angle.
Other special features of the RS PRO Inclinometer are not only the magnetic base, which allows for steady hands-free operation when placed on a metallic surface, a built-in rotary knob, situated within the ergonomic handle of the inclinometer slant level, for measurement adjustments, a truly versatile and accurate angle and incline measurement tool suitable for any construction civil engineering industry.
Applications
Construction, Civil engineering, Surveying, DIY
Geophysics, Aerospace
Navigation, Off-road vehicles
Marine industry, Oil and Gas industry
Satellite Antenna alignment, medical devices and many more
What else are Inclinometers known as?
Inclinometers are known by various other names depending on what they are used for, their design, application, or features
Tilt Sensor – when measuring a tilt or inclination
Clinometer – this is often used instead of Inclinometer especially for simple levelling or handheld measuring tools
Slope Meter – this term is used when measuring the gradient or slope of a surface
Gradiometer – used normally within Geophysics for measuring the rate of change of gravitational field strength relating to inclination
Level Gauge – used in determining levels or inclinations
Gradienter – like a slope meter it measures gradients
Angle Gauge – describes its function to measure angles
