Introducing ABS general purpose moulded enclosures from RS PRO, a selection of highly durable and reliable plastic enclosures ideal for housing and protecting a wide range of electrical parts, cables and components.
This range of RS PRO ABS enclosures feature a base and lid manufactured from solid ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), offering a selection of lightweight yet highly durable boxes with high resistance to chemical corrosion, impact, heat and more. The base features brass inserts, allowing the lid to be securely attached via screws, with the ability to remove easily when required. These versatile plastic enclosures are suitable for use in a wide range of environments.
This range of ABS enclosures are available in either black, grey or white and feature a high gloss polished finish offering an aesthetically pleasing look with excellent corrosion resistance. The boxes also feature internal mounting guides to accept 1.6 mm PCBs (printed circuit boards), ensuring easy installation. Once assembled, the enclosures also offer an IP54 rating ensuring internal parts are protected from dirt and debris.
