When working on live parts, user safety is paramount. Wiha's insulated 1/4" hexagonal socket wrench inserts are the ideal tools for working on electrical systems. Combined with the insulated ratchet wrench, the hexagonal socket wrench inserts can be used to tighten and loosen hexagonal screws. Furthermore, the 1/4" socket wrench inserts can be combined with Wiha's speedE and slimVario handles using the slimVario electric adapter. The insulated socket wrench inserts are subjected to a one-piece test in accordance with the international IEC 60900 standard and enable safe working near live parts up to 1,000 V AC. Especially in confined working environments, these fully insulated tools prevent a short circuit if two conductors are accidentally touched.
