- Simple Pack (for measuring the degree of deterioration of fats and oils) is a simple fats and oils test kit that can easily measure the degree of rancidity of heated fats (vegetable oil). Since the test liquid is sealed in the pack, the acid value can be easily measured by simply sucking up the oil to be tested into the pack and comparing it with the attached color chart. - The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's ``Hygiene Standards for Lunch Boxes and Cleaning'' states that if the acid value of the oil during frying reaches 2.5, it should be replaced with new oil.
