The RC 2 is equipped with two 135 mm diameter aluminum alloy top plates ensuring great temperature homogeneity and optimum heat transfer across the entire surface. 
You can rely on the RC 2 for everyday laboratory applications such as boiling liquids, basic solutions, and media preparation as well as dissolving buffers and reagents. 
By turning the knobs of each independent position, it is possible to easily adjust the temperature of the plate up to 310 °C. The RC 2 accepts up to 2 flasks of 15 liters each (H2O).
Easy-to-use, Safe and Designed to Last
The extremely intuitive control panel and its inclination have been carefully studied to optimize the user experience for all the lab operators and to offer great visibility. 
In addition, the RC 2 hotplate ensures a high level of safety and protection for laboratory operators. The internal electronic parts are protected by the insulating disk, which, together with the robust die-cast aluminum housing makes the RC 2 a durable and reliable hotplate.   
Various safety functions, such as safety circuits and over-temperature protection, protect users in their daily operations. Two illuminated indicators always inform the operator when the heating is on. Furthermore, the icons stay on when the plate's temperature is above 50°C even if the instrument is switched off. 
The RC 2 is designed for the most extended lifespan.
