First, the product application:

A) Broadband amplifier
Some broadband amplifiers, the internal non-blocking capacitor, and the output needs of the power supply, the need for bias.
Some amplifiers are internally assembled with no capacitance, and no additional bias is required.

B) optical fiber communication, laser drive
The required driving current for the laser diode is injected through the DC end of the bias device;
The communication data is injected through the RF side.

Second, the product principle:

Broadband amplifier feed circuit, high frequency parasitic capacitance parameters affected by the sharp decline in performance, so the need to use BiasTee feed.
Bias Tee consists of ultra-wideband, close to idealized, high-frequency inductors and capacitors without resonant points.
DC blocking capacitor: DC blocking, to prevent the DC voltage leakage to the follow-up circuit or test equipment;
High frequency inductance: isolated AC information to prevent high frequency signal leakage to the power supply system.
Third, ports: RF port: RF, DC bias: DC, RF and DC: RF + DC
