PPR stands for pentatricopeptide repeats, also known as random copolymer polypropylene (PPR), which has good toughness, high strength, excellent processing property, creep resistance at higher temperature and high transparency characteristic of random copolymer polypropylene. It can be widely used in the production of pipe, sheet, daily necessities, packaging materials, household electrical parts and various films.
Among the three types of PP pipes, the impact resistance of the pipes is PP-R>PP-B>PP-H, the thermal deformation temperature of the pipes is PP-H>PP-B>PP-R, the rigidity of the pipes is PP-H>PP-B>PP-R, the room temperature explosion temperature is PP-H>PP-B and PP-R, and the chemical corrosion resistance of the pipes is PP-H>PP-B and PP-R. Compared to other PP pipes, the outstanding advantage of PP-R pipes is that they not only improve the low-temperature brittleness of PP-H, but also have good long-term water pressure resistance at higher temperatures (60 °C). Especially when used for hot water pipes, the long-term strength is better than PP-H and PP-B.
