PPR is a random copolymer polypropylene synthesized by (PP and PE) gas phase method. Its structural feature is that PE molecules are 1 linked in PP molecules irregularly, 2 with molecular weights ranging from 300000 to 800000.

Performance characteristics of PPR pipes
Good corrosion resistance: Except for a few oxidants, it can withstand the erosion of a variety of chemical media. It will not rust, corrode, breed bacteria, and have no electrochemical corrosion.
Good heat resistance: when the working water temperature is 70°C, it can be used for a long time, the water temperature reaches 95°C for short-term use, and the softening temperature is 140°C. It is lightweight. The density is 0.890.9g/cm3, which is only one-ninth of that of steel pipes and one-tenth of that of copper pipes. Due to its light weight, transportation costs and installation construction intensity can be greatly reduced.
Hygienic and non-toxic: PP-R material is completely composed of carbon and hydrogen elements. No toxic heavy metal salt stabilizers are added. The hygienic performance of the material has been tested by the national authoritative department.
Long service life: PPR pipes have a service life of more than 50 years under rated operating temperatures and pressures.
Small flow resistance: the inner wall of the pipe is smooth and will not scale. The friction coefficient is only 0.007, which is much lower than that of metal pipes. The water flow capacity is more than 30% higher than that of metal pipes of the same specifications.
Good thermal insulation performance: Due to the low thermal conductivity of PP-R material, the thermal conductivity at 20°C is 0.210.24W/mK, which is much smaller than that of steel pipes, so PP-R pipes have good thermal insulation properties.
Small expansion force: Since the elastic modulus of PP-R material is small, the expansion force caused by temperature changes is small, so it is suitable for direct burial and concealed application in walls and floor surfaces.
The system is firmly connected: PP-R pipes are connected by hot-melt connection, which connects pipes and pipe fittings of the same material into a whole. The tensile, bending and impact strength of the interface are higher than the strength of the pipe itself, thus eliminating leakage, hidden dangers.
