The portable peristaltic pump sampler is ideal for sample removal from shallow wells and surface water, including lakes, ponds, and holding pools. The water sampler is lightweight, rugged, easy to use, and requires minimal maintenance. The peristaltic pump is designed to take a manual sample and has the ability to back flush the sample hose once you are finished taking the sample.
Power
All portable water samplers include an internal 5AH 12V DC rechargeable gel cell battery. The SP100 water sampler will pump approximately 150 liters (40 gallons) between rechargings. A battery charger is included with the peristaltic pump and will recharge the battery within 12 hours.
Sampling
To provide high sample integrity, the water sample only comes in contact with the norprene and polyethylene tubing. The tubing is easily cleaned or replaced. To avoid cross contamination or lengthy decontamination procedures simply change the inexpensive tubing between samples.
